  • Comments: How do you put broomsticks GB onto a gameboy? I think you should ban "HELLO" from your site. He is a big jerk. Can you edit the posts that hold up of the goals? that would be a good use for the empty squares in the items image. By the way, it's june, and you should update the geustbook. Summers coming and I won't be allowed to play computer much longer, so I really want to be able to have broomsticks on my gameboy for the upcoming summer's road trips. Thanks for a great site and a great game!

    Steve,

I think Larrin answered your Gameboy question below. As for the goalposts, only the hoops can be edited using the items image, sorry. In the future, I could change it so that the whole goalpost is in the image and therefore editable.

Glad to hear that you are having fun with the game!

That's just retarded. He can't be sued anyway, even if you could by some strange way contact J.K. Rowling at all, and what makes you think she'd care?

Now Steve, yeah, sorry about misleading ya there :) But don't worry, I'm looking for a way to convert it to a gameboy rom image (That's the file on the GameBoy cartrige). Or if not that, recreate it to a GameBoy rom (\(^o^)/)

Now all I need is a FlashCard... Hmm... I wonder if they're still around overseas in London?

Steve, sorry you don't know what's with all the ASCII art. Here's a little run-down on it:

<(oO.)> *RAZZ!* - That's my crazy/confused expression. I mainly use it for a bit of humor.

(\(^o^)/) - This is a happy expression. It's not mine, someone else made that one... Can't remember who... =D

    ^-^` - That's my 'Can't-believe-this' Anime ASCII expression. The ` is a sweatdrop, ^-^` see?

    ?? °.° ?? - That's my really confused expression. I rarely use that one.

I think the first two look a little like Kirby!! <(^o^)/) *WAVE!*

I'm glad you like the game! If you haven't already, make sure you try the advanced demo. It is about half-way between the simple demo and the Full Version. Also, if you enter the graphics contest and win, you can get a free copy of the Full Version.

I know you can throw it to your team mate but it would be cool if you could throw the ball in the direction you were flying (to score).

I've thought about that before. It would have to be done in such a way that the gameplay would still be good. I may try it sometime.

  • Comments: Before I start...

    MY WEBSITE WAS NEVER DELETED!

Now I shall ask politely: Who did that? Who wrote that message? I don't find it funny that someone impersonates me, and poorly at that!

    Well?

    Speak up!

Besides, I wasn't on the internet yesterday, and if I'm ever on the net, it's only during 7:30 to 9:30 PM, AUS time. That appears as around 2:00 in the morning on the guestbook!!!! FYI, I was at my friends place working on my Maths assignment.

Now here's a question: How could I post that message if my internet crashed? Stuffed up there, didn't ya? And I know my grammar. My internet is crashed?

And who is 'we'? I work ALONE on my website! And I don't work 'hard over it', it's too easy to even call work!

I would NEVER stop visiting this site!

Oh, and on a calmer note, ~WDPA~, hee hee, no. I'm not a moderator. Just a member.

Paul, could you find the IP address of the imposter message, if that's not too much trouble? I know a thing or two about IP tracking, and I wouldn't mind revenge =)

    -Matt

The message did seem a little strange, thanks for clearing this up.

There's no need for revenge. This person just needs to find something more interesting to do...

I checked the timestamps of your impersonating entries in the webserver logs and found which host they came from. I then searched for other entries from the same host and found your other posts.

The throw buttons (for Full Version 2-on-2) are 2, 8, NUM-Lock, and Backspace. The buttons are displayed at the bottom, below the playing field.

  • Comments: Hi Paul! Have you seen Hogwarts HP? It rocks! :) What would you say about getting someone with the time to moderate the guest book. Its a bit of a mad house at times and even if you just got Daniel to check in each day and email you if it was a madhouse it would improve the situation:)

Paul: Do you mind me using my HTML trick up the top?

It would be good if you had a bit of code so when you hit submit \N or new line = "
    "

    Dougall,

I took a quick look at Hogwarts HP... looks good!

actually, Daniel does let me know if the guestbook needs attention.

    No, I don't mind, that's fine.

    Yeah, I should do that...

Now, a moderator for the guestbook... Not a bad idea actually.
I mean, like, this guestbook has been pretty much out of control this month (Lets hit the 100 mark!), but not all of it is necessary. And Paul, you're not around here 24/7, are you?

    ^-^

    -Matt

I do read the guestbook every day, but I don't always have a chance to reply to posts. The guestbook is based on my own scripts and runs on my server which means that I'm the only one that knows how to use it. :-)

I think the wacky conversations should be moved over to the guestbook where they can be moderated more easily. :-)

  • Comments: This game rules! I found out how to make the green team (what you normally play with on the advanced demo) controlled by the computer (the scroll down button), but I dunno how to increase/decrease the skill level. Can u help me? I'm also going to buy the full version sooner or later! It's going to be great! Right?

I don't think you can change the skill level. In fact, the ability to make the green player computer controlled is a bug, it is not supposed to be possible in the demo.

Yes, you will love the Full Version!

  • Comments: Wowies!

If you count Adam's blank post (and this one), this month has had 85 posts!

So, I stand by what I said earlier:
    WOWIES!

It won't be like this next month (And you'll be most likely to see less posts from me too, but only for that month [Harry Potter 5 - Order of the Phoenix {That's if I get the book this Monday (Three sets of brackets inside a parent bracket? That's not good ^-^) } Yay! ] )

    ^-^ Don't worry, I'm not abandoning this site ^-^

  • Comments: Paul,
I think that on the Full Version you should add the option of controling the Gold Ball's speed. You could have a 'Slow', 'Medium', and 'Fast' (Default of current speed) speed.
I think having the option to control the gold ball's speed would add more fun to the game (if that's possible ;-) ) and I would probably use the gold ball more often.

Thanks for the suggestion. I would have to try it out and see what happens. Wouldn't it be too easy to catch then?

Really, the problem with the gold ball in the 2D game is that there is not much room for it to go. I think that it works better in the 3D game...
