Several years ago, I showed my popular CAVE QUAKE II demo to Mike Kulas and his company Volition. They had such a good time that they gave me some code and data for an early version of their RPG Summoner. I didn't have the time to "port" the game to the CAVE. However, I did spend a couple of days writing a CAVE app that let's you do a walkthrough of one of the game's levels (WOLONG).

The CAVE app shows off a little of the great artwork that was put into this game. You can see the Wolong level as it would look life-sized, in stereo, with head-tracked perspective. For instance, you can walk over to the side of one of the buildings and look around the corner just by moving your head. The demo also features some of the ambient sounds from the game, which greatly adds to the immersion.
